Our Story
Muster Point
A "Muster Point" is a designated location where service members of the armed forces gather before a mission. These individuals come together with a common purpose before stepping into the unknown.
For many veterans, the most challenging mission begins after military service ends.
The transition from military life to civilian life can be filled with uncertainty. The structure, purpose, and camaraderie that once defined daily life are replaced with unfamiliar challenges. Many veterans face struggles with identity, isolation, unemployment, physical health, and the weight of experiences carried long after their service has concluded.
Muster Point was founded at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln by a Marine Corps veteran who recognized a need for stronger veteran support and connection during the reintegration process. Having experienced the challenges of transition firsthand, he envisioned a rendezvous or "Muster" point where veterans could gather once again— to navigate life after military service.

We serve as a central meeting ground where warriors can build friendships, share experiences, access resources, and discover new opportunities.
Our mission focuses on strengthening the mind, body, and spirit of our nation's veterans. Through physical fitness clubs, social gatherings, mentorship opportunities, and career networking events, we help veterans build healthy lifestyles, meaningful relationships, and successful futures.
The purchasing of our products funds our organization to give back to our veterans. We provide them free of charge opportunities to maintain healthy minds, spirits and bodies. Every shirt, flag and sticker bought, goes to benefitting one of America's heroes.
